Introduction
Machine vision is a branch of artificial intelligence (AI) and computer vision that involves the development of systems and algorithms to enable machines, typically computers, to interpret and understand visual information from the surrounding environment. In essence, it is the technology that allows machines to "see" and process images or video data similarly to how humans do, and then make decisions or take actions based on that visual input.
